Completely different topic but just seen a bit of the press conference and noticed macron on the sponsorship. I thought we were changing? Was looking forward to buying a shirt this year!

Probably still under contract with Macron until a particular time hence why they would be on the sponsorship. Once that expires it will change.

Can we rename this page Aston villa whinge? Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion but it's banter not we are doomed already site! Throw my 2p's worth in now. anyone that thought Aston villa was a quick fix is deluded! We have a chairman that is now as open as can be compared to what we did have. a team that I think will eventually not sh*t themselves on the ball like how many previous seasons!

5 games in and we have showed huge improvement imo, first half of every game we should have been out of site because we are taking the game to teams and creating chances we just have struggled finishing them, we aren't rolling over every week like last season, the positive signs are there ands free this break where all the players are in other than Chester we should judge them on the 5 games from there. Direct, pace to burn, young and a good finisher. Would be great in Championship. Bamford alongside him would be ideal.

I do mate. Lack of goals is what killed us last year. Dr Xia has said he sees us buying 6-7 players. I'd make that 2 strikers, 2 midfield players, 2 defenders and a goalkeeper.

Personally would like to see bamford, but would like to see what we are thinking in the other departments! The link of Oliver Norwood to burnley or hull for 1.5mil would b a great steal for us in the midfield!
