Just read that pep wants grelish and Kane. If grelish dose go this summer I think it will be to city. I also see that they want to get rid of silva Sterling and mahrez, if they go so will grelish. Maybe a swap deal could be on the cards 😂😂.
1.) 31 May 2021 22:38:23
If city pay 150 million for Kane I think we shouldn’t accept a penny less than 150 for grealish given the age difference, also jacks importance to our team and the longevity of his current contract, we hold all the aces in my book. I would be interested in mahrez but not the other 2. look at Sterling I’d say he has to regret leaving his boyhood club, yes he won leagues but he would have a champs league and premier league if he had stayed with Liverpool, I think jack will stay another year at least and see how much we progress this coming year.
This is a big if but imagine your in jacks shoes, our owners invest again significantly this year, we break into the europa league places and invest again, go on to win the competition the following year, would you rather win a competition like that as captain and being the talisman for the team or move to city and maybe win a league or 2 and an odd cup? Totally hypothetical question I’m not saying that’s what I think will happen just curious as to your opinions, I’d rather win something smaller with my club than go to the big club and just be another cog in the wheel even if it meant winning more.
2.) 01 Jun 2021 00:14:51
As you say hypothetical, but as you say, if Jack honestly thought it was possible, I’m sure he would prefer the later . To be captain of the club you’ve always supported and have a go at Europe, would surely be his dream .

Whack, if I was good enough to play any sport professionally I would want to test myself against the best both in terms of international football but also domestically so whilst I would want to play for my team, a point would come if I couldn’t fulfil my ambitions with my club then I would look to move on. Given what Jack has done for the club then if he does want to go then we should let him but only if our price is met.
You need to be careful quoting a price on here when I had the temerity to suggest that this time last year we should if someone came calling for Jack be asking a similar price to what Utd were being quoted for Sancho I was told I was talking b####### and promptly censored, clearly the Ed’s like you 😀😀😀.
{Ed001's Note - there is just no point in editing Whack's post as there is so much nonsense in there. For starters Sterling's boyhood club is QPR, not sure he would have won anything if he had stayed, certainly can't see him having a Champions League medal.....}
4.) 02 Jun 2021 21:22:56
Sorry Ed I was meaning Liverpool and I thought I had read somewhere that he was a Liverpool fan as a boy but upon researching it he was a united fan, not sure what else you call nonsense as I did say hypothetically speaking and not claiming that it would come about but who could of imagined vardy would win a premier league medal with Leicester before that season. maybe your referencing the price I quoted but we can all have our opinions on that as it’s an opinions page and the only real opinions that matter are NSWE and they won’t sell cheaply. personally I don’t think any player is worth that much and certainly not a 28 year old but if someone is willing to pay it then fair play it’s good business. KDB is the only player in the league that I’d rather have than jack right now, maybe foden aswel but city wouldn’t sell him for any less than 150 million in all fairness.
{Ed001's Note - I was joking Whack don't take it so serious. I wasn't meaning you to take it to heart mate.}

South Gate needs to get sacked boring football playing 5 at the back 2-0 down
10 May 2022 22:47:50
What's the hype with Carney every time I have watched him he has been lazy and not the right attitude get rid of him asap! Also Tyrone mings what was he thinking for the first goal attackers must be licking there lips seeing his name on the team sheet. Other than that I thought was a decent game stevie g will do well next year. UTV
1.) 11 May 2022 06:22:09
There are people on Twitter calling Carney class and needing to be signed up ASAP. Not sure what they've been watching the last 2 games.
Mings mistake was for the second goal not closing down the cross. The first was awkward and just his luck that it got stuck under his boot while trying to scoop it away. Unfortunately because its Mings he gets all the blame when about 5 other players failed to do anything in that same penalty area.
{Ed001's Note - is it luck or just poor technique and timing that got it stuck? I don't see how it is luck, sorry. Mings gets stick because he is always making those kind of errors due to poor technique and believing he is far better than he is. He does make up for that, in large part, by being a leader for the team on the pitch, but that doesn't mean he should be immune to criticism for mistakes that stem from not putting in enough effort on the training pitch to improve himself. Players like Nedved became great simply by staying behind after everyone else went home to work on their weaknesses. If he chooses not to do so, then he only has himself to blame if he gets stick for errors. It is not like they don't have plenty of spare time to work on their game. They are spoilt little rich kids who would rather whine about getting stick than doing something about the reason they get stick.}
2.) 11 May 2022 07:49:04
Ed I agree to a point, I have always been a Mings supporter but I do think he is quite often made a scapegoat when things don’t go well. I accept his technique isn’t the best but I think part and parcel of the problem is he is being asked to do things that both he and the team aren’t comfortable with, so if you look at Liverpool when they play out from the back you can see all of the back four are comfortable on the ball even if they receive it in tight spaces or being pressed high, our back four are ok if they have time on the ball but when pressed all too often they don’t look comfortable and look for a killer pass that isn’t on partly because we don’t have a decent defensive midfielder who can screen the back four is comfortable in possession and can distribute the ball to someone in the same coloured shirt! I’ve also lost count of the number of times Mings of late tries long cross field passes which end up conceding possession that’s not his game he needs to stick at what he is good at. I also think for some reason this year we seem to have forgotten how to defend balls coming into the box again yesterday we had an early warning when Tsimikas crossed a ball into our box and Mane was left alone between the six yard box and the penalty spot for a free header which drifted just wide of the upright and yet we didn’t learn the lesson. The good sides play to the team’s strengths to play the way Gerrard wants us to play is going to take time and good recruitment and will in my opinion take longer than 12 to 18 months to instill into his players I just hope he is given the time.
{Ed001's Note - I do agree he can be scapegoated, but then he should try working on learning how to hit those crossfield passes.}

Good to see cash extended his contract. One of our better players i'd say. Left footed centre back and 2 midfielders in the summer. Along with a sticker and we will see big improvements
1.) 04 Apr 2022 22:02:20
Not sure a “sticker” will help us much UTV ??
2.) 04 Apr 2022 23:02:14
Haaland panini sticker
3.) 05 Apr 2022 05:54:14
*striker my bad
02 Apr 2022 15:48:36
Mcguin has been our worst player for the last 6 games now mings day dreaming again he shouldn't be starting absolutely terrible first half can't get much worse the second.
20 Mar 2022 11:45:35
Seeing a lot of stick for Ramsey I don't agree with he is our best midfielder by a good distance. I'd drop mcguin and put sansom in for me mcguin has been a 'passenger' a lot more than Jacob 6 goals and 1 assist for a young midfielder is not bad.
1.) 20 Mar 2022 12:36:18
Totally agree UTVBOYS some seem to think he needs to develop the defensive side of his game, for me I think he is fine as he is, his game is based on running at opponents and from deep, he has six goals this season already and is on the verge of the England squad he’s clearly doing more right than wrong
2.) 20 Mar 2022 13:47:23
Facts If he played for a big 6 team would be even more and one of the best midfielders I have ever seen play seems to think he is good enough to start and says he is really impressed with him
11 Aug 2021 10:32:07
I think el gazi should go never really rated him to much 1 good game In 5/ 10 is not a player we need. I don’t think we need another winger personally with buendia young Bailey traore and trez when he comes back from injury I think we are well stocked I would like to see another midfielder come into play hopefully JWP.
12 Jul 2022 19:05:55
Couple of his songs are decent
14 Jun 2022 21:58:56

06 Jun 2022 22:32:05
Ramsey over mcguin konsa over mings
27 May 2022 22:37:04
He might have triple the goals but in a side that dominated the championship I’m sure Watkins is the man personally I really like him UTV
27 May 2022 10:22:39
People moan about Watkins he has double his goals no thank you.
