O dear Mrs Cates's perception of our opponents last night being a bigger team than us didn't go down very well in this household! Having more money, better players winning silverware, competing in Europe, and currently being more succesful doesn't necessarily mean that that club is 'bigger'.That certainly applies to that small team from fulham in my book also!

I honestly didn't think i would ever feel as bad than I did after our defeat to Bradford in the LC Semi, but this debacle today has left me feeling worse! What a proper disgrace, no passion, no desire, no idea and very little respect for our opponents. We've now not won an FA Cup game since 2016, this season was an ideal opportunity to go far but its season over in January yet again. Its so disappointing it really is, i though we would use a couple of the youngsters today but have mainly the first choice players would start. I just do not understand why in these situations the best team is used, get twonor three up then make changes to rest players? So for me Emery has to shoulder part of the blame and responsibility for the defeat. Some of those in Claret and Blue on that pitch today are just simply nowhere near good enough. Amongst those Olsen, Augustinsson and Dendoncker must surely now be moved on, simply so poor, and must be three of the worst players i've ever seen at B6. Gerrard deserved the sack just for signing them.

Totally Agree DD. So annoyed, don't live close to B6 and I've only been able to get to one game so far this season, and it's looking likely the next one won't be until January. Not too far from the top of S/T waiting list but certainly won't be acquiring one with these fixture times. It's a difficult one isn't it, clubs now rely on the tv income to pay for the star players, and their new or refurbished plush stadiums, with all the comforts within that fans are now expecting and are used to. The no live games at 3pm on a Saturday rule could be removed to help this but would that then have the detrimental effect its there for?

Lol, you are so right Smithy and it is such a shame that at times he gets just that little bit bit too cocky, and error occur. When he is just concentrating on doing his job and being a defender he is such a good player and well worthy of his place.

A real shame we didn't go in for Ethan Ampadu. wouldn't have cost the earth for a young British player with bags of potential, or would have been a great loan signing for 12 months, with a possible buy option if tt wouldn't release him. can't understand why he has gone to Venice. He is class and would be a great fit just in front of our back line. Watch his performance against the spuds in Feb last year, He was superb!

Ahhh Nii Lamptey, what ever happened to him? I remember his debut v Wigan League cup 94 when we beat them 5-0. He was all over the news and fairplay he did look a very exiting talent that night, even scored i think.
