Sounds a good young promising talent, with loads of potential, and has more than 60 first team appearances to his name at only 21.

The way I see it is that Watkins will be 1st choice, if he’s getting no joy or the opposition have got him snuffed out, we have 2 options, replace him with Alvarez who could be a fox in the box, or replace him with Wesley/ Kienan and lump balls in the box, it’s just switching things up, if Plan A isn’t working, got to have a plan B 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸

Tim Vickery who is the South American correspondent on TalkSPORT has identified Alvarez as a potential star of the future, the problem he sees with him is where you play him in that he is not an out an out striker or a winger he may be a no 10 but no one seems to be quite sure but what they are sure about is his ability to find space and the fact that he is technically gifted so potentially he could play in the middle between Jack and Buendia.

Guess as a manager u have to think of players u got how would they feel if they get dropped for a player that didn't do a full pre season is not fully fit u and u did and they start ahead of u! U have to try keep the dressing room happy for the team. I wouldn't b surprised if a few new players said I don't want to start but go on in second half I'm not up to it atm.
