Apparently Rashica was all bit signed by BL but couldn’t agree on price? Ed is this true? Will his agent be scrambling for a move to England now?
{Ed002's Note - The transfer window has closed in Germany. The issue will be do AV want to sign a player who wants to be elsewhere and they have not been able to agree a deal with do far - and without a medical? Or maybe way and try for Benrahma (which stiles me as a better option).}

WE have £24m from the monies stated for getting players into the squad.
Benrahma could be an option at a fare price if Franks would accept £24m.
Generally fees are ridiculous so one last push may secure a player that is/ was coveted by Deano and many on this site.
He is imaginative, quick and scores. What more do we want?
Watkin was a chance that proved right.
Surely worth a dip into the coffers.

I agree totally my only gripe is we should have left the Rashica deal weeks ago when it was blatantly obvious he wasn’t interested in joining us.

We need a box to box midfielder in my opinion, last night was a good result but we failed to capitalise on them having10 men. Our movement of the ball needs to be quicker in transition so we can fully utilise the sore of both Watkins and traore otherwise their pace will be wasted. Also this Rashica deal is dragging on Ed any update. I like Sarr but blew hot and cold last season and 30m is a big price to pay for someone who is inconsistent.
{Ed001's Note - I have not heard anything new on it, he wants a team in European competition last I heard.}

Agree totally MAT20 on the midfielder, McGinn looks shot at the moment, and is lacking in confidence.
Alan Browne, Josh Brownhill, George Byers, all well priced and all grafters with quality.

If we do get damsgaard and JWP we would have one of the most exciting attacking lines in the PL coupled with our formidable defence …. Makes us quite a force moving forward. It would seem we may be a team to be feared again and return B6 to a fortress.

Thanks Ed, great info as always. Great signing for any club in IMO I agree that we should focus on JWP should grealish does leave as it provides us great creativity and depth in the squad something we severely missed last season when he was injured.

News, however another article states that he hasn’t been playing regular football and that villa bosses want to give him time. The media is always full of this kind of bull……. they turn misdirected glance at the manager into transfer speculation.
