Agree with the general sentiment - quality in the final thrid has been our major problem for quite a while now. Sancho was incredibly wasteful and Watkins, despite his undoubted work rate is still quite some way off what's needed. It's getting to the point now where if Rogers doesn't play well we're lucky to score a goal.which then means any mistake at the back gets magnified 10x.

That said, it's a really tough place to go and other than finishing/final pass I thought we played really well today.and what a great learning experience for some of the younger players.

No idea what was going on with Emery and Tielemans when he came off. Hopefully nothing major!

The Tielemans incident will 100% be because of that rubbish corner that hit the first man in injury time.
Emery preaches control as the number one priority, risking a counter attack that late was only ever going to have one outcome.

If that was the reason, the reaction seems a little over the top, but I understand emotions run high in a situation like that, so hopefully no big issue once they calmed down in the dressing room.

Personally I thought Emery just wanted him off the pitch for fear of getting hacked down and injured, we can’t afford to lose him, Roger’s also taken off and wrapped in cotton wool. they were getting rough especially that skrinner fella he was boiling over
