Looking at how we played at the start of the season to how we are playing now it's like chalk and cheese, we move the ball much quicker, to move the ball forward much more quickly and with Torres his ability to bring the ball out from the back drawing the opposition midfield out creating space for Rogers et al to break into and as a consequence we are a much more dangerous side. It was interesting to see Maatsen starting in front of Digne I presume Unai felt Maatsen pace against Saka was a key factor.
If we can end December where we are now then the transfer window becomes key for us. In my view we absolutely need to hang on Martinez and sign a quality no 9 if we can do that I think we have a real chance of pushing Arsenal and City all the way. UTV.

Nice to see you are all seeing what Torres offers I have been saying it for ages yes he might not be the strongest at defending but it’s like having another midfielder on the pitch when he steps up and sprays the balls around

I like both Torres and Mings but have always said that the way Unai likes his teams to play Torres is always going to be in his best starting XI.
