Everton saw that David Coote was reffing and were rubbing their hands. He does love a home team.
They were kicking lumps out of us and getting away with it all whilst diving at every opportunity.
Ollie gets a yellow card for an accidental elbow that wasn't even outstretched but Tarkowski can scissor tackle 2 separate players with the intent to hurt them.

To be honest Rk I think we were robbed at least twice and they should of being down to 10 men for the last 20 mins, tarkowski staying on the pitch is a joke all he wanted to do was injure our players, I expect nothing else from Dyche teams, my biggest issue is the disallowed goal, the picture they kept showing us of Bailey didn’t include the player making the pass, at one point they showed the wider picture from the other side and in that Bailey was well onside because of the player on the ground. Now the still picture they kept showing us clearly had Bailey offside so then I ask why did they move on to the next phase of play where Moreno takes his shot and scores, they spent well over a minute, possibly even 90 seconds trying to figure out if lenglet was blocking the keepers view from an offside position, the only reason to check that phase is if Bailey was onside for the initial one but we are led to believe the goal was disallowed because of Bailey, so it’s either a massive waste of time and unnecessary delay to the game or they were as I suspect deliberately looking for a reason not to give a perfectly good goal, I don’t trust them for 1 minute unless you can see the instant the pass was made plus the offending player in the same picture, I’ve never seen an instance before where the picture didn’t contain all the relevant information, to me this decision stinks, the tarkowski challenge on Diaby was also a penalty in my book, he done his best to hurt every player he tackled.

{Ed025's Note - i think you either need to suck on a lemon or take the claret and blue glasses off..

I don't disagree with the offside decision, you could tell Bailey knew he was offside when the ball came to him, he just eventually played on because there was no flag.
The penalty decision was Diaby's fault in my opinion, if he'd gone down from the Mykolenko trip then we might have gotten it. I don't like the way Tarkowski challenged but getting the ball usually means no penalty unless it's red card level.
The challenge on Moreno was worse and Coleman was a disgrace for his repeated attempts to make something happen, should have had a yellow for dissent himself the way he was going on.
The big thing was the gulf in consistency between decisions. Everton were far more physical with knees in the back of legs, shirt pulling and clipping players after they'd gone but somehow we had more fouls and yellow cards.
Coote and Gillet are at it every week, it's not just us. Those 2 shouldn't be anywhere near a Premier League game.

{Ed025's Note - i agree on Coleman mate but the dirtiest player on the pitch was Douglas Luiz, he was at it all game..

Shirt pulling and holding players is hardy dirty. You could tell that when tarkoski went in for a tackle he wanted to hurt someone that is dirty

{Ed025's Note - all part of the game TOM, give me a robust tackler any day ahead of a snide like Luiz mate, even though he is a very good player..

If we're talking the pulling in the penalty area Ed then we'll have to disagree on that, every replay to me looked like he was the one having his shirt pulled off his back every corner.

{Ed025's Note - it was not just that RK, he was niggling all game mate and winding people up..

Fair enough. Half his job is to break up play, I don't think he overstepped the mark physically or cynically though.
His reaction to some decisions was a bit OTT but when they keep going one way and not the other you're going to ask questions.

Ed it’s my guess that if you are in fact an Everton supporter you are going to be sucking lemons for quiet some time, Dyche will keep ye in the premier league but gone are the days of Everton being a footballing side.
