What is it with Mr Heck, thanking the fans for taking part, in the badge vote . But still having to remind us, at least twice about the 30, 000 on the waiting list . Still seeing lots of complaints about his ideas in the Holte end .Our complaints in the North stand, are lack of space and facilities. With Mr Heck's help the Holte upper, have had a big chunk of theirs taken off them . From reports Iv seen, I think his money making ideas, are having a revere affect . All he appears to be doing, is winding hell of a lot of people up .

Dave, Heck is digging his own grave, he is going to be the sacrificial lamb. Unfortunately nothing is going to change, it's a cynical plan by the owners to sound things out and to suggest they are listening, absolute bulls***t.
30,000 waiting list is the only currency in this game and only one winner, it's our ball and we will play by our rule's, typical dictator's tactics.

But you want the owners to invest hundreds of millions of their money in the team without them looking for some return? In this day and age that view won’t fly I’m afraid. Also let's not forget where the club was a few years ago, on the verge of HMRC issuing a winding up order so we need to be careful what we wish for, there are significantly worse owners than ours operating in the premiership.

I was reading a thread on the villatalk forum and a large majority can see the positive of the new schemes, especially now the u14s for free in the lower grounds was added.
The people complaining now are the same ones complaining before, minus a few who made incorrect assumptions.
I don't see many of those who don't like it and won't ever use it changing their minds but as they aren't the target customers the club won't care. It's the same if you complained that Lamborghini didn't offer a car you like for less money.
Nobody disagrees that standard facilities need to be improved/fixed although there will be a compromise on the level provided. Queues will always happen in venues where everyone piles into the same area at the same time. Theatres, music venues, comedy clubs all suffer the same way because it isn't commercially viable to have 10,000 toilets or 5,000 customer service employees.
We've all been in bars where they have 5 people behind the bar serving 200+ people, a stadium isn't going to magically be any different.

Rknewell you summed it up, when you said they won’t care .This is what fans are complaining about . I don’t know where you sit, but have you ever seen the facilities in the North-stand? My son is in the upper Holte, they are saying about how their facilities have been chopped back . We all agree that they win need extra money, it’s just the way they are going about it ., consideration for the fans, is non existent .

And the staff are thick. I used to work there so I saw first hand yes there is a lot of people there but the whole bar could be managed better. Here’s a tip have people on the tills constantly taking orders and people who get / pull the pints. Last time I went I was getting served by a guy who went to get my bottle of coke and had a good few mins conversation with his friend

What exactly does 'stripped right back' mean though? If its losing a concessions stand then it is just redistribution as the fans that were using that one are now using it under a different guise.
If it's the facilities themselves that are the problem then that's not a Heck problem, he is the commercial manager, nothing to do with operations. It's something that needs to be hammered home by the supporters trust and at the fan forums.
Like Tom says, floor managers need to take responsibility and make sure their teams are good to go, the staff only really have rushes for a couple of 20 minute periods before the game and half time so absolutely no reason to be slacking.

My mistake, Heck is now Business Operations with Erskine as Commercial.
Heck will be focusing on strategy rather than the day to day. I find it highly unlikely the new additions were implemented without thinking the remaining options could handle demand.
It's not directly his fault if maintenance or the concessions teams in a specific area aren't performing. I'd hope that would be rectified if complaints are directed through the right channels (not just moaning on twitter) .
Knowing how some football fans treat things like the seating and the toilets though I wouldn't be at all surprised if the problem was more that things were being broken faster than they could be fixed.
