I see we are being linked with Jadon Sancho at £60 million. I trust this is just bs, much better value to be had elsewhere for example Barnes or Harrison maybe even both at £60 million! If Sancho is worth £60 million after failing to live up to the hype following his move to Utd from Dortmund how much are the likes of McGinn, Martinez,Luiz and Ramsey worth?

I think Sancho could be an interesting signing, under Emery he might flourish but at 60M it's not even worth considering, perhaps a loan with an option? He was exceptional in the Bundesliga, but Leon Bailey was very good there as well and he's really failed to deliver yet at Villa sadly. It feels like Williams is the one we want though (based off nothing bar some tenuous links and a gut feeling I'll admit), window is now open, I expect us to close our DoF (hopefully today) and our summer will really kickstart then.

I was thinking the other day what a cracking front 3 that would be, Watkins Barnes and Harrison, very direct players, in front of Kamara Luiz McGinn, overlapping full backs in Moreno and Cash, Barnes and Harrison seem the type that track back unlike Traore and Bailey so we’d be more sold defensively. I say Cash because I don’t think he’s going anywhere, my YouTube feed has had Villa posting stuff calling him the ‘Polish Cafu’ in the past few days

The midfield set up is going to be very interesting this season, kamara, luiz, mcginn, ramsey and tielemens all wanting to start so should push each others performances up a notch or two.
