so who do you the fans want to takeover aston villa? larry ellison or the group of villa fans? and manager well it could be anybody i will belive it when i see it that lerner is trying to sell. from his statement i got that his sorry but is still looking for a buyer but untill then he will continue to try an bring back the glory days! it didn't say he has a buyer or a sale was in the pipeline.

I really hope it's Larry Ellison
This guy is a total winner.
Hope he heavily invests in our historic club and watches that glorious night in Rotterdam
If he grows to love the MIGHTY VILLA half as much as us good days will be back.
Take your time mate and build a fortress like we once had and bring in the right manager ( Mick the mc ) give him the funds to buy hard working players and give us something to be proud of again.

The way I read the take over story is that the villa supporters who want to take over villa work for ellison and are hoping that he will be on board aswell as he is a big sports fanatic didn't realise that they were separate parties buying also the Chinese or who ever they are have access to the books. I dunno maybe I'm wrong!

Seems the reports say there are 3 parties who have been given permission to look at the books, American, fan based and Chinese so looks promising. Let's hope Mr Lerner is her for final touches.
