So we have split the role of sporting director and head of recruitment, previously both taken by Suso. Lange taking the First role last week and today Rob Mackenzie taking the second today. Mackenzie has been involved in some very impressive deals both at Leicester and Tottenham, most notably Mahrez and Son.

Also today, Craig Shakespeare has been appointed as assistant head coach, previously at Leicester as head coach and manager, did very well there.

I'm over the moon with these appointments, not having one dictator taking all rule over transfers. Now having designated positions and proper accountability. We discussed on here adding another set of eyes to the coaching team, don't think we could of asked for better than Shakespeare.

what are everyone's thoughts? Is this the end for Terry or just another set of eyes?

Good to see we’ve got Shakespeare on board,
We’ve read a lot about potential signings but it could be all,
“ Much ado about nothing”
but hopefully our man will uncover a few gems, and that it proves to be more,
“ A midsummer nights dream”, than
“ A comedy of errors ”. 😁.

CS is, in my opinion, a very underrated football guy. I think he'll bring a lot of positivity to Villa.
