Just listening to Graham Sounds on sky sports super Sunday, he was asked about the relegation fight and who he thinks will survive, he said he thought Watford and Burnley would survive because of their fighting spirit. I hope all of our players were listening and it fires them up to show they can fight like Watford and Burnley. There have been times of late that many of us fans haven't seen the fight that's needed to survive. So Deano and the boys show us the fighting spirit that Souness identifies is a big key to survival.

Pearson has turned Watford around, no doubt.
He has instilled in them a winning attitude and the will to fight for 95 mins.
I had hoped that Terry would do the same for AV but it seems that he is more in the background than in a management role.
when we were looking for a manager, when were we not, Pearsons name was at the forefront but many fans were against him because they saw him as a bully like he was a player.
But if you get this idea into players they feel that they can perform better than the opponents.
This is exactly what he has done at Watford.
Now imagine what he might have achieved with AV?
Nice guy Deano but motivator, I think not.
Without Deano Brentford are still doing the business so there is no evidence that it was he who was the man behind their performances when he came to VP.
WE don't need a nice guy we need a miserable ba-----d to get our super stars playing for their places and one that can bring in players that are performers.
When was the last time we bought a player who was a recognised first team player in the prem?
No, we get players from all over the place, some that we have never heard of and others we wish we had never heard about.
Loan players who cannot get a game anywhere. Part of a successful team in the past who now warm the bench or are not even in the squad.
We could do with a performance related pay structure. £50000 a year plus bonus for winning, league position and the number of goals.
Some of the players must improve instead of leaving it to the icons.
The management must improve.!

I agree with the pay structure only thing is most of them would be on basic salary because they are basic players.
