Not Villa related but RIP to Denis Law, one of the best goalscorers I saw play when I was growing up.

His skill was amazing.

I agree with your sentiments pluffy but I will never forget him getting sent off at Villa Park for an absolutely brutal challenge on Alan Deakin. I was only a youngster at the time and in those days all us young ones stood at the front of the Trinity Road stand. Happened right in front of us and I couldn’t believe what I had just seen. That aside he was a truly great goalscorer.

A legend RIP Dennis. Tone he definitely had a dirty side, I remember a number of incidents similar to the one you mention.
