Former Aston Villa star Dalian Atkinson (48) has died after being Tasered by police.
Awful news RIP.

Very gutted to hear of the death of Atkinson, his great goal against Wimbledon still for me one of the greatest the premiership has seen, rest in peace big fella.

Anyone else think Cambiasso would be a decent signing on a free? He was excellent for Leicester last season and at 34 might have 1 more good season in him if used at the right time.

I heard Ranieri has given him an ultimatum to sign for Leicester very soon or else they will sever ties. So he is either holding out for money or because he wants a step above Leicester. I wouldn't mind us going in for him so long as his wages are reasonable.

Huge win today although I didn't see the full game. What does everyone think of Amavi in his new role. He was always good going forward but not defending so seems obvious. So do we try cash in this summer or keep him to play further up the pitch?

Right, I've been quiet on this forum but always looking (daily tbh) . Personally I wanted Pearson but that's not to be and if it's Di Matteo then he will have my support. But not being from Birmingham (im from Ireland) I don't see how having Steve Bruce would be a bad thing 4 promotions sounds good to me. I know not being from the area might skew my view but so what if it means we go up 1st time of asking. All Villa fans Say they don't care what the bluenoses say about them. but really it's the ones outside of Birmingham don't give a f##k. Anyway VTID players to sign. (realistic)

Wouldn't be too keen if it's Morrison. He has been trouble everywhere he has played. I say played but hardly played 1st team football in two years. No doubt the guys talent just hope RDM can get the best out of him and keep him on the straight and narrow.

Yeah Bamford would be a good signing but I wouldn't want Adeybayor he's the type of player who thinks he's doing Villa a favour by playing for us. i'd much rather someone with a point to prove like Lambert.

Suarez didn't have a 40m buy out clause Arsenal just thought he had.
