Lads, we were terrible today but I've seen some fans calling for Gerrard's head - Absolutely crazy talk! He has to be given a full season, anything other than that is madness - The only way I can see Gerrard being let go is if there is a ready made proven manager ready and waiting (and willing to take the job) or we are genuinely in danger of the drop, neither of which will happen this season.

Yup ? - Gerrard, IMO, is trying to run before he can walk, setting us up like we are Man City and expecting to win games, we need to get the basics right, that's what makes Man City great, they do the basics perfectly - It's an ambitious strategy by Gerrard and may need to be peeled back somewhat but the general Villa fanbase needs to relax, we lose the first game of the season and it's toys out of the pram time. It's ridiculous, we are insanely reactive, if anybody is calling for Gerrard to be sacked they need to have their head checked.
