Just reading the posts about Jack and the animosity from a selected few. Some questioning his character. I would just like to balance some of this. My sister has a severely disabled child and is a regular at Acorns Hospice, as many will know Aston Villa have a special relationship with Acorns and were a previous sponsor which the Villa did for free. Villa players regularly went to the Selly Oak hospice at Christmas. Jack especially had so much time for the kids at the hospital, mainly off camera, so the cynics can't say it was for the camera. I know first hand the countless times Jack has helped families with gifts, money and provided special memories for terminal children non of which were reported, it was just s nice guy giving to families in troubled times. Please balance what good people bring to others lives and not just what happens on a football field, that doesn't suit what effect any outcome may have that certain people don't like.

It's all a bit distasteful to be honest. The BM are trying to stoke it up and people are reacting.
Move on, nothing to see.

This lovely story has absolutely no relevance to what’s been said.

1. On the pitch he’s top 3 players I’ve ever seen at VP imo, I’ve never disputed this or anything else to do with him “what happens on a football field”.
2. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone on here question Grealish’ work for charity or fans etc, it’s well known he went above and beyond, similar to Gabby.
3. I judge someone’s character on several things, what they say and what they do are two of them, when they don’t align it creates a pretty clear picture of their character and them as a person. This hasn’t served me too wrong up till now.

So as I’ve shown, that lovely story and some of the statements that follow have no relevance to what your trying to defend. Whether something happens that people like or do not like, the events, words spoken and actions leading up to this, is what creates the feeling around, whether that be a feeling of respect or as an opposite, the feeling of animosity.

Just as a side question, when Grealish was caught leaving the scene of an car accident last year, and the video showing his driving came out later, you along with many other, and rightly so, berated him, his character, his respect etc. When the video went out you also claimed you’d have him sold straight away etc. Now all of a sudden, you have the complete opposite opinion of his character, personality etc. Why the change? Why is it so often when the large majority agree on something do you nine times out of ten, very vocally disagree? Even as I’ve shown in this case, if it’s something that in the very recent history you had the same view?

Back up what you say OV, provide evidence, the history books show this is when you usually stop responding😘.

I could tell you a true story about him which happened at the Barnt Green Inn when he was with Gabby Pertov and his driver/ minder but I'm sure that will come out in the wash he is a 1st class twax always has been always will be.

So all this i'm a do gooder dosnt pull the wool over my eyes his interview has belittled the club and his former team mates. Mark my words down now you will hear more and more coming out what he is really like off the pitch and not infront of GOOD PEOPLES EYES.
