Lads, non football question (I'm sure Ed will tell me if I need to keep it purely football related 😀) - Myself and my better half are traveling to Birmingham for the Everton game and I was wondering if there are any good recommendations for grub during the day? Again, apologies for the non-footie questions but being from Ireland I'm not up to speed on the culinary delights Birmingham has to offer :-) Thanks Lads!

Thanks for the recommendation Neve :-)

UTVBOYS, honestly we aren't fussy, somewhere nice - We booked Lashan (Indian) for later that night after we beat Everton so maybe a burger place, honestly open to suggestions as I haven't a clue where is nice

Thanks lads!

Bk, are you sure about Lasan, i love curry and eat it out regularly, Lasan is not your typical Indian, its too fussy for me, only been once, probably won't go again. Lots and lots of choice in the city for curry far better than Lasan.

Caffu - We actually went to Lashan before and loved it, now that may have been the food or the 9 drinks we had prior to arriving - Going to give it another go to find out LOL. Cheers for the feedback though, if it doesn't deliver this time around I'll certainly pick your brain for an Inidan on our next visit. Thanks mate!

Bk, what ever you choose enjoy mate, Birmingham city centre is always worth a visit, hope the football is as good as the curry.

{Ed007's Note - Me and Grotbags went down to Birmingham about 10 years ago to meet Ed001 and his daughter for a WWE event and we went to this Chinese place that was absolutely massive, it was 3/4 floors and eat as much as you want. Me and her 'indoors still say it's one of the best value/quality feeds we've had in our 30 odd years together.
Now I think about it it might have been different floors for different types of food but it was great food.}

Ed, been there with er in doors, great food, its just a pity that Birmingham city centre has nothing to do with them lot at small heath, yet one of the best city centres for culinary delights carries their name. Any villa fans that don't live in Birmingham are missing a great vibrant city, try it, the football in Aston isn't too bad either.

{Ed001's Note - it was very nice.}
