Either he needs to adapt to city, or city need to adapt the way they play to him. Watching today the amount of times Sterling ran on beyond him and instead of playing it Grealish ended up laying it back to one of the centre backs.

Still one of their better players but could tell he was new to their system.

The reality is Jack is a phenomenal player but I still do not understand why City signed him, it seems like a totally unnecessary signing, especially at 100M. Perhaps it'll become clearer once KDB is back in the starting 11 but for me City need Kane much more than they needed Jack. But look, he's a City player and we need to move on, UTV :-)

Surely we should've moved on from commenting on Grealish. Who cares how he's settling in or what position he's playing in. If/ when he plays for England fair enough until then couldn't care less. Newcastle looked half decent today so we'd better be ready next week. Seeing the highlights from the Watford game yesterday, granted a couple of below par performances but we did only get done by a lucky deflection and a 1 in 100 effort from Cucho. We'll finish top 10.

Agree Buck, the whole Grealish saga has been tiresome and we need to move on - He will win plenty of trophies and make plenty of money at City but he'll never be as appreciated as he was at Villa (not that he will care I'm sure 😂) . We need to focus on our club now, 2 very winable games coming up, 6 points is a must if we have genuine aspirations of a top 10 finish. Please let us see a HMF arrive this week 🤞.

I think he's absolutely an option Mark, think he played there before for United and man marked Sanchez to great effect against Arsenal. Either way I think Smith has some decisions to make, we need to be more compact in the centre of the park so that may mean one of Ings, Bailey, Buendia drops to the bench. I think a MF 3 of McGinn, Luiz (& New HMF) could be very effective with Marvelous, Sanson, Ramsey, Chukwumeka etc as options on the bench.
