Tho the Ashley Young rumours go against the perceived transfer policy of the club I can see the sense in it. Forgot the way he left the club, a few last season were calling to add some vital experience to a youthful squad and he'll bring that in bucket loads. Even if he's a bit part player next season, his knowhow will be very useful and even at nearly 36 he's obviously looked after himself physically and can offer another option in a multitude of positions, plus he's free keeping our powder dry for bigger targets.

In another posting I said this wasn’t for me but I have just been listening to some of the comments he ha been making and he seems to be as enthusiastic as ever and really determined to make this work.

Just watched it myself Aka and it doesn't sound like he's come to f##k about and take the money ala Lescott, Richards, Lansbury and a latter day Gabby. He's here to play and make a contribution to what will hopefully be a European push 🤞👍.
