I think the the premier league need to do something because this will keep on going on since when is that the so called big 6 run football, its not been about them since football been invented, I think all of the clubs are a joke, what are they going to gain leaving apart from money, with no relegation or promotion in super, sounds like nfl, with all the history of some of our biggest clubs in English football proves honor and dignity and pride and loyalty has gone out the game, too think aswell history wise, spurs, Chelsea and City isn't much bigger than ours aswell it's just there owners obviously don't care about England and there clubs and fans properly, personally I hope the clubs rot now because it's disgraceful for the game to even comtomplate leaving our league.

Let them go and never let them back. See how long they last when fans turn their back on them. Rebuild the prem without them. Take away international availability to all their players for life. Then we'll see who really cares for there club and country. I for one wouldn't pay to watch it if villa entered it, I'd go and watch a local lower tiered team and give them my money.

Solidarity among fans not just in England but throughout Europe might well be the key to its downfall.
Having said that these greedy club owners don’t care who their paying audiences consist of, whether they’re Chinese, American, Arabic or whoever.

Hopefully the powers that be, will carry out the sanctions they are discussing . There could be a lot of exciting players, looking to stick with the Premier and their availability for their country . This could be great for teams in the same situation as Villa, an opportunity that will have to be grabbed . We will see how our owners react and just how much they are prepared to push .
Levy and the Glaziers at Man U, have always been, looked upon as snakes, people have always had suspicions of foreign owners, this certainly won’t help . Thankfully our owners aren’t involved.
As has been said, this is so disrespectful of the fans and all the years of history. Let’s hope there isn’t a backdown, by the powers that be, the so called top 6, can’t be allowed to get away with it .

Interesting debate re this issue on the radio this morning and a couple of interesting points raised. Firstly that the clubs looking to initiate this European super league have no real intention of setting up any such thing this is merely the opening salvo in a negotiation to get more money out of UEFA from European fixtures I may have got the figures wrong but apparently clubs ONLY share £1.1 billion whereas UEFA make over £3 billion! . The second issue placed purely from a business perspective was why is football up in arms this is nothing more than a logical extension of when the premier league was established and the EFL was cast aside, only on a European scale. I accept that without relegation it is slightly different but clearly the view is this is just market forces dictating the future direction of the game. I might not agree with the premise but I can certainly see the logic in the argument.
