Looks like the speculation regarding Jack's injury lay off of four to six weeks wasn't far off the mark. Deano's interview today didn't sound promising as he isn't training. So we will see if Deano can adapt the ultra defensive performance against Leeds with set ups that will show far more offensive tactics. The performance on Saturday was welcomed, but many on here had been calling for change for a while.

Indeed Scotty, I think we need to address the possession side of things now, we were much better against Leeds, but we need to try and retain the ball better than we have been, and stop giving it away.
If we have the ball, teams can`t hurt us.
I do not like watching teams give us a lesson in passing, we have been there before.
As for Jacks injury, I think they have known from the beginning what the problem was.
We cannot be a one man team, there has to be a plan in place, in the event of Jacks absence or departure.

I would like to see sanson start and trez think he will have a point to prove and it keeps the player on there toes knowing that jacks out.

I'd like to see sanson start at dm and mcginn pushed higher up, trez on the right and I suppose el ghazi on the left. I'd want Ramsey in there somewhere too but pushing mcginn further up might get in the way of that.

I think Barkley and Doug will start tonight we need creativity against the bottom team we should be under no pressure defensively, if Barkley not performing I’d hook him at half time and give sanson the second half, we have enough of dm’s we don’t need him playing that role, I think it will be

Martinez
Elmo konsa mings targett
Maginn Doug
El gazhi Barkley traore
Watkins

Maybe Ramsey will get the nod instead of Barkley but the way dean was talking about Ross yesterday I expect him to start.

Don't underestimate them Whack, they may be bottom but whenever I've seen them they've always given a good account of themselves, just can't score. I'd rather us be pragmatic and grind out a victory than be dismissive of their threat, go gung ho and regret it. Same XI for me, possibly Sanson for Mcginn, give him a rest.
