Just a question that's popped into my head but do you think because of our "big club" status this could work against us? My reasoning being that as such, whichever owners we have, are just tempted to just chuck money at things rather than building from the ground up with a successful academy and pathway to the first team. "Leeser" teams have had success by taking the time to produce a regular supply of young talent, promoting from within. Maybe its time to change tack and build something that's self sustaining and if that takes a few years so be it. The quick fix approach hasn't worked time for something new. Like I say just a thought but something to consider.
