Arsenal sign Pepe for 72 million and scored 1 goal he must be the worst signing ever then just saying for you Wesley slaters.

How does it make it better for us just because there are bigger flops out there.

Scot I don't know if you are on the wind up here but you are the reason along with others why I detest certain fractions of our fan base. To get on players backs just because he hasn't scored 20 goals yet says volumes about you and others. These are professional athletes who thrive off good vibes not bad ones perhaps I may suggest to you and the others you give him a bit of encouragement instead of slating him. As Dave pointed out the goal ratio per game to all of our other strikers and he's on level with the great Carew, Benteke etc.

Like you say Daz, I think he has become a wind up merchant mate. Constantly complaining, never offers a possible solution to the complaint, has no tolerance or patience, and won`t answer your replies.
I have also been reading how fans have jumped on Tyrone`s back, and slating him.
Call themselves fans, they make me sick, they are worse than "jock itch"

Villadaz i ain't denying wesley isn't far behind goal record of other players but wesley is playing upfront on own so goals coming from no one upfront all other strikers you have mentioned played with a partner upfront likes of dwight yorke and gabby . i'm not saying wesley is problem i think its formation . I wonder how many goals dwight yorke scored during savos 5 goals in 16 games?

6 I think Delaney.

So that's 11 goals in 16 matches as partnership instead of relying on one striker to do it all .

Wes is made out to be the scapegoat of our poor results
I feel very sorry for him.
Fans need to give the player more support not slag him off at every opportunity.
He has a lot to learn in premiership as does the manager to be fair.
We have had a really hard run of games and now over the 7 games coming up we have a easier run on paper.
Let's wait until these games are done and dusted before we want this player in or out.
It was always going to be a hard season and finishing 17th will do me fine.
Wr did not win the championship we came 5th and fans need to think about that.
12 new players from overseas and some fans thinks we should be at least 10th this season?
Just because wolves done it we should do it.
Wolves had a quality squad in championship and did not require major surgery like villa.
Same with sheff utd they had a settled side for 2 years and they have adapted better.
We will be ok this season.
We will stay up I have no doubt.
Some fans need to be reminded it's a building process.
🦁🦁.

I personal ain't slagging wesley off . I just think he needs help and asap . I don't think the prem is somewhere where you can have a learning curve we need points and goals fast or we could be in real trouble . Everyone around us is picking up points . The only thing that is good is our goal difference . I think could do with a striker With some pace to play off wesley . Were averaging between 2/ 3 shots on target a game and i'd guarantee its from midfield . Somethings got to give .

From 8th down only Arsenal have scored more (1 more) . Most are 4-5 behind us. Wolves in 5th are only equal on goals.
I'm not quite sure where this concern over Wesley's goal return is coming from as it's not really affecting our overall ability to get the ball in the back of the net.
It's the other end we need to work on. Either have fullbacks who focus on defending or midfielders who are more effective at holding back to cover the space they leave behind.

wesley is a disaster, who scouted him? anyone who looked on the net and saw videos of the young sulk, would have seen a bog standard footballer who could jump and muscle those around him. well he's none either, i wonder how many more millions the bosses are going to let him waste, its not rocket science to see that nakamba and luiz in the same side doesn't work. people decry hourahane, but his presence does add balance, jack will go, all our best have gone before, barry, yorke, southgate and ugo, bosnich, delph benteke. ( please get him back) the club needs to make a clear statement to the mancs, the bin dippers, and anyone else it must be made clear that aston villa is no longer a selling club.
