I don't understand letting somebody else buy your players its crazy. Reason 1 you know as a manager the way you want to play an what players to play that style. 2 your jobs on the line! 3 it shows a lack of trust in your manager if u don't trust him with recruitment! 1 thing i will say i don't want a load of brentford players we already have jota an konsa get benrahma an that's 3 brentford aren't that great. To be honest apart from wesley an sammata an nekamba an drinkwater the rest are fine but a manager should always buy his own players!

Jota will go leaving Konsa. Benrahma and Watkins are being touted because they are in form and exactly what we're looking for. Skillful, quick and hard working. Neither would cost the moon either.
Both are also young meaning potential sell on value.

Rumours are that significant funds are available for players who can hit the ground running so to speak and have premiership experience interesting times ahead me thinks.

Heard that to maybe its about tine we stopped shopping at brentford and go and buy top players we have the money the history and a good base to work from i want to be link with divock origi tammy abraham not ollie watkins do we want to be fighting relegation or going for top 10 why don't we buy zaha an players of that class? We need think bigger show some ambition all these big clubs started somewhere they didn't wake up and have world class they brought in over time.

I am starting to get a little carried away with the rumours of significant funds being available so whilst I was originally for selling Jack principally to raise funds to improve the overall quality of the team because as Villadave identified Jack much as we all love him does have his limitations. But if we don’t have to sell because funds are available then I think we should look to build around him and if in 12 months time he still has the issues we think he has then sell him then. So for me I am looking at a striker and 2 midfielders. In terms of strikers I would take one of Ings, Mitroviic, Wilson, Ihenacho or Origi although my preference would be Ings. With regard midfielders I would look at Saint Maximin, Benrahma, Sarr, Harry Wilson, or Albrighton with my preference being Saint Maxim and Benrahma. I would also try a cheeky approach to Spurs to see if we could take Ryan Sessegnon on loan as I think we need a left back.
If my recruitment was successful my starting line up would be
Heaton
Guilbert Konsa Mings Sessegnon
Luiz McGinn
Benrahma Grealish Saint Maximin
Ings

Subs Nyland, Targett, Ramsey, Hourihane, Wesley, Barry and Hause.

I think such a squad gives us creativity, goals and pace we can choose whether to play on the front foot or on the. counter.

Next task is to get rid of those not good enough Jota, Lansbury, El Ghazi, Trez, Engels, Taylor, Elmo and maybe bring a few more of the academy youngsters into the first team squad.
