I believe in about a years time things will come to light showing how rdm was shown no courtesy and was generally not fully back within a few weeks of taking the job, the board have a lot to answer and some of those he put trust in.

it's a disgrace, but rdm showed true class by not making anything public and tried to carry on, but the players knew, the agents knew, the writing was on the wall. i'm not maligning bruce in any of this, he is a decent man and had no knowledge of this, so the board and those above are all culpable and if Aston villa get back up this season, who'll care, right?

well, i liked to think we did things properly. seems things have changed, so ta ta, that board ain't getting another dime from me. they can shove it where the sun don't shine. our club is better than that i hope, be lucky, over and out.

Got a lot to answer for what? Do you just think up story lines and then forget their not true and write posts about it? Stop wasting your time mate it's boring, your worse than the papers.

Jesus Christ, self-indulgent nihilism seems to have reached epidemic proportions on this site
Let me get this right; you won't support the club anymore because of a feeling you have (no proof whatsoever) that a manager who was twice allowed the transfer fee record for the division wasn't treated well enough?
Glad you'll be taking your nonsense elsewhere to be honest.

Bemused, he was given millions to use to build something that would challenge! Quarter of the way through and not even a sniff of a challenge! There is no patience in football and even less in business! RDM knew who he was dealing with and that the new owners would want to see some return by now on their investment. This is the modern game and RDM will still have food on the table and roof over his head so my heart doesn't bleed for him. He has taken the disappointment and shown dignity 'end of'! Let's get fully behind Bruce or whoever and move on VTID.

Sensational.
Unknown man accuses board of directors of failing in their duties.
Should change your name to arseof82!

Just so I can get this right in my head as well.
you think we acted hasty in getting rid of rdm. as results proved against this decision.

We allowed him immense transfer budget
Complete change of playing staff
New coaching staff, who rdm chose
New playing style, training methods

And as these don't work, we acted in the best interest of the club, and you think this is wrong?

And because this feels wrong in your gut, you
A) post it
B) leave the club, (so much for villa till I die)
C) expect the rest of us to follow!?

See ya.

Why is it that our club attracts a large contingent of the mentally deranged?
Or, is it the same at every club?

This sort of stuff should get you a ban from the site.

He didn't strengthen the midfield, that is the biggest problem. That is his fault, he had Carte blanche on transfers and got the balance wrong, I'm not sure how you can blame the board for that.

Don't forget Mendax, they closed down St Margaret's in Great Barr so they're all out in the community now.

VillaSA you are 100% spot on. Midfield is our Achilles heel . I just hope that Bruce can see this and address it. Urgently.
