Which squad did you guys prefer
Martin o neills or the current squad,
I loved the o neill squad with how quick we were on the break Ashley Youn out wide Gabby and carew, Milner and downing,
I like the current squad but we do lack pace at times

Its interesting you pose this question Irishvillain Andy Townsend has just published his dream Villa XI which is a 4-3-3 formation: Bosnich, Gidman, McGrath, Evans, Staunton at the back Barry, Cowans, and Grealish in the middle and Gray, Yorke, and Morley as the front three.

A good team, but for me though I’d go 4-4-2 with Martinez instead of Bozzy maybe a little controversially I’d have Mortimer in for Barry and Young for Morley but so many permutations to pick from and some really good players who don’t make the cut but at the end of the day it’s all about opinions and what you like??‍♂️
