Great result a superb defensive performance, I know Onana got man of the match and he was superb, but personally I would have given it to Cash not only for the goal but in Savinho and Doku he had to deal with two of the trickier wide players in the premiership and he dealt with them superbly. My only slight gripe is with Konsa I wish he would to stick at what he's good at defending and wouldn't think he was the defensive Johan Cryuff twisting and turning in the corner when surrounded by more technically gifted players, sometimes booting the ball into row z is the right approach giving the back line time to reset but as I say it's only a minor gripe.
Once Tielemans is fit it will be interesting to see if Unai tries to fit Kamara, Onana and Tielemans into the starting XI.

I think it can’t have done him any harm, playing against international players on a regular basis is only going to improve you over time. That said I don’t believe Cash was ever as bad as some on here would have you believe. What I do think is that he suits the way Emery likes to play ie attacking full backs playing high up the pitch.
