Villa interested in Dwight McNeil can't see it myself look well covered in wide areas. Young left back Kieran Lyons from Partick Thistle also being looked at for under 23 squad.

I find the rumours around McNeill quite interesting for the last 18 months his name has cropped up as being the target of a number of clubs with a price tag ranging between £25-35 million yet no one to my knowledge has made a bid and if you look at his stats you can probably see why as in terms of goals and assists you would say it’s bang average at best. I think he very much flatters to deceive and even if we were looking at wide players I think we should be looking at better players than McNeil

yea i would agree with that to be honest lacks end product and pace. any info on this Lyons guy? first I've heard of him one for the future maybe?

It's his agent trying to engineer a move. Never been any substance to those rumours.
