Could be a big week also villa scouts was at swansea last game so looks like smiths buying the players not the sporting director. Rashida still on the radar aswel so don't lose faith with that 1 either could just take a bit longer!

There's no way deano will sign Rashida walkies, the answer is obvious - because he doesn't play for a championship team fella! - seriously though, it's great buying potential, but that'll be 5-10 games before they've half a chance to gel, maybe he's saving money to buy a 'marquee' player, but with Jack off to Man utd allegedly, it's going to be nuts out to bring in a player who can do half as well in a few weeks, it'll be exciting on the one hand, but a bloody massive punt on the other hand to attract high calibre players when you've sold your best player, Deano better pray they click, otherwise it's the tin tack for him, the only saving grace is shakey is there to help, and more than likely take up the reigns if it hits the fan.

DVB represents Man Utd’s intent in my opinion, if they were that keen on JG they would of wrapped up the transfer before now. If there is still life in the JG to Man Utd
Where does he play and who does he get ahead of? BF, PP, DVB MR, AM, MG. please bare in mind two of the three players are keeping him out of the england squad, so my question is why would he move to a club where his game time will potentially be limited? Villa however need to ramp up their efforts to bring in talent, not long until the new season starts and the only thing looking decent is our academy 😂. Seriously though we suffered last year due to multiple signings and then taking the time to understand how each other plays, if we leave it too long, We surely hit the same pitfalls.

I’ve had a look at Swift for the 1st time today on YouTube, at £6M it don’t need any debate, GET HIM IN! if it happens that Jack isn’t off, I could see him and Swift takin the p’ just like when Fulham had Best and Marsh, if any of you guys have seen it, they were tackling each other to get their fair share of the ball! and another thing with Jack, just switch to Eire, be a big fish in a small pond like Bale for Wales or McGinn for the sweatys, I’m England 1st but half Irish so win win for me either way

Ally, I have said it before about Swift, he was offered to us at the end of the season for 6 mil, I said back then it was a no brainer, and I got slated for it, he is perfect for us, and great cover for Grealish, and Hourihane.

Genuinely never looked at Swift before today, and Tonev was alright. 😜 on the banter page, can’t remember who posted it but they did a team with The Arsenal keeper, Cash, Swift, Benrahma and Watkins starting, that would be something to get excited about, still think we need a midfield general and been banging the drum for getting Isaac Hayden, if we got all of them I think we’d still have spent below the £100M, I’d be happy with that being our business done, at some point Wesley and Heaton will be back, and some of the other signings from last year will have a year of Prem experience in the locker, definitely think Konsa going to be a star for us, Engels needs to find row Z more often, Mings too tbh, Targett has his faults but the complete left back like Chillwell costs £50M+ so what do you do, hell, might bang a tonne on us winning the Premier lol 😂

Also I think we should move a couple out, just to tidy the place up a bit.
Hogan, Lansbury, Taylor, etc etc.
I say Taylor because Hause can cover that slot if push comes to shove.

Dave and Ally, hopefully over the course of the season a sprinkling of our youngsters will also make the breakthrough. Players like Barry, Bridge, Wright and the Ramsey brothers for example should be knocking on the door.

I like the look of Swift. Certainly has an eye for a good through ball. My only problem is most of my view is based on YouTube compilations that can be flattering.
