Walkies, he was ours once, and he was the main man no doubt.
I have always been a bit reluctant when it comes to signing a player who was once a club idol.
But I have thought long and hard about this, and with all things considered, I think for 8m he would be worth looking at.
Especially after looking deeper into Callum Wilson.

Dave I presume your reservations about Callum Wilson are re the allegations that he is rabid anti Villa I presume your investigations have confirmed that he holds those views and it’s not just malicious gossip.

To a degree John, not sure about the rabid bit, but contrary to what some people are saying, he is not a Birmingham fan, he supports Coventry and always has done.
I have heard from people, he loved scoring against Villa, and disliked the club, dislike Villa why would he play for us?
He has not said that to me obviously, but if I was a player, there is no way on this earth I would play for Birmingham City.
That is what I have based my reason on, its principle really.

On the flip side of all that John, if it is bulsh, I would think he would be a good punt at the price.
