It's been reported John Swift of Reading has been offered to us for £6 m.
Is silly season now in full flow?

Previous acquisitions from Reading, Tshibola and Sidwell, didn’t prove to be great success’s, however at 5/ 6 million Swift would be good value, I think. I would however prefer a player like Ross Barkley to play alongside Luiz, should somebody of his quality and experience become available.

To a point I agree Aka.
But for a player of his experience and ability 6 million is pretty good, and I can see him as a direct replacement for Hourihane.
Younger, quicker, and a better all round player.

Mark I like Barkley too but if we keep Grealish I am not sure how we would fit both into the midfield, but if Jack goes I would definitely be in favour of making an approach for him as given the players Chelsea have signed and are targeting I don’t see Barkley getting much game time next season.
