Any listening to Sam alardace on sky he makes complete sense on how to play and stay in the league he makes complete sense unlike our manager who continues to play in way the players can't play like playing out the back.

Come on Villa4eva, no-one on here will give big Sam a chance, even though he helped pioneer player recovery programmes which he brought back from his time in the usa;even though he brought back the idea which was the forerunner to player stats, and of course;as far as I'm aware he was the first British manager to have deal with a changing room of multiple foreign players, their agents and their sometimes bizarre expectations.

AND this he did to a very successful standard, you could say he provided the blueprint for future teams and how they blended both domestic and foreign players together to make it work, but of course he never received the plaudits he deserved for this, you could even say he was the first real 'cultured' British manager, so it makes me laugh when people call him a dinosaur.

what happened at Everton is always brought up, but look what he walked into;a club in trouble and another rescue mission; which he did; yes the football the next season wasn't vintage, but the club was going through a transition, look at Marco silva;spent big and still got the sack for playing dire football, at any club when the old guard don't want to embrace a new idea, the result is always stagnation until they're sold or the get the manager sacked.

remember when big Sam was brought in at Sunderland, and he had jermaine defoe as his only recognised striker, also defoe had an injury remember, and he still masterminded them staying up! -so for those on here who slate big Sam, your talking out of your rectums, his record speaks for itself, it's not a flash in the pan, and if you still call him a dinosaur, then clearly you must dense between your ears.

if deano is turfed out there's probably 1 or 2 other managers who could save us, but Big Sam is definitely the best of them all no doubt, some of you on here smack of arrogance when it comes to keeping us up, smell the coffee, we're in the fight from here on in, get your heads round it, it's happening.

That your view, co82 but him and pullis could keep us up in my view the players need telling properly not being pampered like they are, like at wilder at shef utd old school says it how it is and hard work and effort and fight is in his team and tactically 1 of the best I've seen from a British manager, but he wouldn't come too villa it's madness yes we're a bigger club but we are a sinking ship, that's why I'd bring in Sam, pullis, they would organise us and make us hard to beat, and who cares if No1 on here or villa fans don't want him it's about staying in this league that matters and having the best manager to do it and Dean Smith isn't the man forget he's a villa man and he took us up big deal simple facts, he's spent 140mil on crap, his team's can't defend, he's to stubborn to change his ways of thinking, we don't have a plan a, b, or c we just hope jck pulls something out his hat, we're a one man team, we have no style of play or identity, I struggle to see what villa game plan is when, watching us, and last point I think the players have lost confidence in him they proved that on Sunday, I'd rather change now and have a chance of staying up with the teams were playing around us with a Sam or a pullis, or Warnock we'd have a much better chance, because with this manager were going bck dwn I wish people would wake up we are a prem club with a chance and a slim one of staying up but people would rather go dwn with deano because he's one of us then they would say he'd bring strait bck up with no jck no mggin no Ming's or Heaton and Engles they would all be sold, but that's my view were in it together but it's not going to end well if some how we stay up deano should be knighted.

Co82 Everton were 8th when Sam was sacked and they wasn't happy I'd take that all day long look where they are now they rnt going to finish higher than that ever in my view and as a villa fan we can only dream of top 8 finishes.

Bang on Villa4eva, 8th would be like winning a cup! -the older I get the more I think the top brass at villa park have taken the path of least resistance.
