Why are we now chasing Tom Heaton. Is this in case Butland falls through? Can't see all this being super-motivational for Steer whatever the outcome.

We are being linked to every semi-available player outside of the big money players regardless of position.
For all we know we might not actually be in for either of them and I'm sure Jed is already clear on his position from the contract talks.

I don`t think we need a keeper anyway, would be better invested outfield.
