Paper talk, inside knowledge, leaked info, usually the truth lies somewhere in the middle where player unrest is concerned. I think Gerrard is trying to stamp his authority on proceedings and he has evety right to do this. Unfortunately history has shown in recent tines that players have far more sway than when Gerrard played. Our next three games, whilst not easy games are all realistically winnable, however if the player unrest is simmering under the surface we could easily lose all three, so my take is the next three games could easily define the issues and our season. Early days of course but the two signings of Carlos and Kamara are definitely not enough alone to change our fortunes, we need at least three more quality players or we will see exactly what we saw at the end of last season, the pre season friendlies and opening game of this season. If anyone thinks differently I genuinely think they are going to be disappointed.

Free to sit on which ever end of the bench he prefers cause he’s not a better option than Buendia, for me Buendia has more energy, more spark, more creativity, his frustration spurs him on to try even harder when it’s not working whereas couthinho drops his head and let's it get in on him 2 much. if gerrard keeps picking couthinho over Buendia it will be his downfall, your ability is what should earn you your place not your name and I hope gerrard don’t keep picking him just because of their history.
