Being realistic how many points out of 12 will we get out of 12,im going to say 4?lets say worse thing happens we loose all 4 games do you think gerreard will be sacked after 5 games and plus that would be 2wins in 17games,also if worse happend and we moved quickly for poch he had 2days left in transfer market to try and do something date would be 30th of august after arsenal game

If we lose all 5 games them absolutely he'll be sacked Jonny, would probably make it the worst start to any Prem season - We won't lose all 5 games, we'll beat Everton at the weekend.

Even if we were to lose the opening 5 games (which we won’t by the way) Gerrard won’t be sacked the owners and Purselow have invested too much in him to cut him loose so soon. Unless we have an absolutely disastrous time up to the World Cup then I think he is safe even if we don’t see much of an improvement on last year

Ings, it's very rare I disagree with you but in the EXTREMELY unlikely scenario that we lost the first 5 games of the season I think Gerrard would be removed, especially if there are other managers available. Won't happen, he'll make changes against Everton and we'll get the win :-)
