Conundrum, if we get off to good start is it down to the manager and Gerrard gets the credit, if the starts no good is it down to the players, time will tell. I hope its a good start where everyone gets the credit fans included.

Scotty good or bad it’s all down to the manager he is responsible for identifying transfer targets, coaching, tactics and picking the team, the buck sits squarely with him. In fairness to Gerrard I think he sees it that way and wouldn’t expect it to be different.

Come on gang,now isn’t the time for ifs buts and maybes,give Stevie a chance the season hasn’t even kicked off yet .Already the rumbling's have started .
In 60 odd years,Iv seen good managers,more bad managers,but Iv always been prepared to give them a chance and wait to see what happens .
