Good win for Villa this morning.I thought Kamara looked assured Carlos strong and overall quite pleased.Mginns tackle was a bad one though and in the PL I think that would be a red.Overall a pleasing result considering the humidity and a big shout out the Aussie Villians out there made a lot of noise

Nicely taken penalty by someone sending Meslier the wrong way … oops, sorry, he’s not supposed to be mentioned in any kind of positive light on this site ?

Didn’t see the game, another clean sheet is a plus but we should be putting those bums to the sword, without Philips and raphinha they are championship at best, looks like Harrison is on his bike now aswel, could be a long season for them. see a lot of complaints about maginns tackle on their page, referencing football from the 70’s which is quiet ironic seeing as the Leeds team of that era were the dirtiest team ever.

I managed to watch the game and to be fair to McGinn, it was an accident.he just went in hard and caught the kids standing foot slightly. For context though, the same kid flew into a challenge a bit earlier and typical Bamford was winding everyone up, including leaving a late one on Carlos who very quickly got up and squared up to him which was nice to see. A very fiesty game and a good work out but Villa were clearly the better team, if a little rusty in the final third which you'd expect. Again, not worth getting too excited but early indications are that both Carlos and Kamara are going to improve our first 11. I get the impression that Carlos is going to be one of those players that fans will love but due to his very proactive style of defending, will get criticised for being rash at times.personally I prefer defenders to be aggressive so can forgive the odd howler.but who knows, still plenty of time to see how he plays.

I watched the game as well. Leeds fans need to have a good hard look at themselves. This is a team that commit foul after foul after foul every time they play us. They started taking liberties with the lenient ref, as they always do. However, Gerrard isn't going to accept us rolling over like we used to so we simply gave back as good as we got. It was nice to see. Nobody wants to see serious injuries but if Leeds are going to push it as far as they can every game they have to expect it might happen. SJMs tackle was not that bad anyway, and I believe the injury is not that bad either. They need to grow up.
