Even Scottie Dave can't be upset by that display .Not blaming Marvellous,but all changed with changing our shape . I know with tired legs they had to be made,but I think that made the difference.
Sounds right about Camara,that is just the start we need for next season UTV

Disappointed with the players? Of course not. For everyone slating the previous manager on his substitutions, this one is worse.

The issue today wasn't the substitution, sending on a holding midfielder to see out the game at 2-0 up would be the move 99% of managers would have made (including the top managers), the issue is the quality of player we brought on.
Marvelous is a strong ball winner but offers absolutely nothing beyond that and if you continue to lose possession in midfield to the top clubs they will eventually punish you. We need to add more quality in the summer, throughout the entire squad.
That being said, to concede 3 goals in less than 10 minutes is appalling and we really need to shake this weak mentality - Quality players will bring that of course but if we don't learn to be stronger mentally it doesn't matter how many players we sign, we won't progress.
Anyway, season is over, let's enjoy what looks like being a very exciting summer - Kamara looks to be done, what a coupe that is BTW, and apparently we are close to another signing as well.My guess is Tarkowski.Going to be a very different Villa squad next season I'd imagine.

I'm not complaining about the sub he made, it was the ones he didn't. It shouldn't have taken that long to make the second sub when players were tired.
Nakambas passing ability had nothing to do with it as City bypassed the players he was covering anyway. Everything went down the sides where the Ings and Young subs would have made more of a difference if done 10 minutes earlier.
