Hopefully our midfield shows up for the second half, Doug giving us nothing at the min, nakamba is there for defence but still Doug is sitting back, need more presence further up

Whack, second half pretty much same as first until Buendia came on, leaving him on the bench week after week is criminal. He brings far more to the party than Coutinho. Nothing really on the game yet we didn't liven up until it was too late, another mid table performance which is why we will finish mid table. This current squad and style of play needs drastic change or next season will be a repeat. Slow build up and poor finishing did for us yet again today.

The person I was most disappointed with yesterday was gerrard to be honest, midfield was overrun for an hour until he changed it round, thought it was a mistake bringing off ings for buendia, it should of being a straight swap for couthinho, I know he’s still working with most of smiths players but no excuse for watching that tripe for so long without changing something, they were there for the taking and we passed up 2 valuable points which would of put us ahead of palace, nakamba was awful, our general forward play was very poor, constantly passing backwards, couthinho picking the ball up deep in his own half and then doing absolutely nothing with it, no width, no press, passing was awful, looking for a positive from it and I can’t really find anything, maybe having Ramsey back fit is the only thing that was good to see

Im glad someone sees things the same way as me, yesterday was poor and not for the first time recently.
