People moan about Mings,but what has happened with Konsa .Last season he was being talked about, as a future England player .This season he's certainly gone backwards.he looks terrified to receive the ball,every time he looks for Mings or Martinez.Last night a couple of times,he had Cash as an out ball and never used him . Personally I think Mings looked more assured, when Chambers was with him .The playing out from the back is frightening, SG has to sort that out,other teams have clocked onto it .
Brilliant team performance last night,that's the effort we want to see. Once again our problem is not converting our chances.
Onto Sunday and Palace,will be another hard game .

Davedean totally agree he has gone backwards whereas before he would stay on his feet he now commits to challenges where he has little or no chance of winning the ball and needless fouls which puts our back line under pressure. I think by all accounts he was close to Smith so whether he is not responding to Gerrard’s management style I’m not sure but I can understand why Gerrard is potentially looking for 2 centre backs
