Is it really a reliable piece of info? It seems to me that all these rumours have stemmed from gabby saying a couple of weeks ago that we should get him now that we have coutinho, at 34 years old I don't think he's worth the wages that he will most likely demand, he was a truly talented footballer but I have to say I never like him and that's putting it mildly, more like I detested him.

I’m sitting on the fence with this one.
If we have to pay his full wages then I don’t think it will be such a good signing after all as in a few weeks he will be 35.
If his wages come down then maybe he will be worth a punt.
If having him means we don’t have the money for a DM and centre back then it is a definite no, no.

Lot of talk about Gomez but whilst I liked him a couple of seasons back I am not convinced by the little I have seen of him this year and I am not sure Liverpool would let him go anyway to be honest. No one in the premiership readily springs to mind so I can only go back to last years Euros where three centre backs caught my eye, Akanji from Switzerland, Caleta-Car from Croatia and my personal favourite Szalai from Hungary although I think a number of sides are sniffing around him currently.

There’s been talk of Nathan ake, although not sure he’s an upgrade on mings! I did like the look of joe Rodon at spurs but he has featured much this season, I’m sure mourinho signed him,decent CB’S seem hard to come by
