Nice to see Chukwumeka get some game time last night those 15 or 20 minute cameos can only be good for his development and he was unlucky with the chance he missed I think against most keepers he would have scored. Shame about the reception Grealish got he didn't deserve that kind of reaction in my opinion.

If he didn’t want a reception like that he should’nt of lied to us and furthermore he has admitted of late that he would of being gone to united if they had bud for him, same with Spurs, he was looking for a way out for the last 3 years and long before he was a world class player deserving of a big move, I don’t hate him but I’m not rolling out the red carpet for him, he was right pleased last night when city scored their goals and rightly so as he is a city player now, villa supported him through thick and thin and not without his own off field issues for him to then go and put a sneaky clause in his contract, he told us he believed in the villa project, my city, my team but he’s off first chance he got, got the reception he deserved last night in my book, 40,000 fans in the stadium wanted villa to win last night and he wasn’t one of them so they made it tough for him and rightly so in my book.

Whack bang on if he was allowed to go sooner or a bid come in he would have gone. About the game I really enjoyed it I know we lost but I am happy with The first 3 games. They are a lot better to watch and I think we was unlucky to not get a point last night. Onto Sunday. UTV

He could have gone when we got relegated he didn’t he kept us in the premiership virtually on his own first season back and you be grudge him a move to a side who will compete for trophies season in season out whereas we still need to establish ourselves at this level. I think he should be thanked for what he has done for the club not vilified. I have to say with the utmost regret that if I was a young player who supported our great club and a talented footballer I would think twice before signing on the dotted line with ‘fans’ like ours.

Correct me if I’m wrong mate but nobody made a sufficient bid for him and that’s the only reason he didn’t leave, also he was only breaking into the team when we got relegated, nobody wanted him at that point, including Southgate for England and I’d say mostly because of his off field antics. villa owe him nothing we made him the player that he is, and he was thanked plenty, to the tune of over 100k per week. there is no room for sentiment in football otherwise we would still have all the players who got us back to the premier league but you have no problem selling them, jack is no different he was just better paid. he will always get stick at villa park for as long as he is playing against us, the fans know they can get in his head easier than a player with no history here, he’s not stupid he will of had a good think about it after the game and he knows the fans were doing their bit to help the current players wearing the claret and blue, he had plenty of people clapping him after the game but for that 90 mins nothing matters but the 3 points

If all that matters is getting 3 points week in week out then why bother to mention his off field antics? And although as you say when we were relegated we didn’t receive an acceptable bid he could have agitated for a move and would have got a move but didn’t. Football has changed over the last 20 years the days of a player staying at a club throughout there careers are long gone and the very few who do stay are competing for trophies season after season we are not at that level yet and therefore you can’t blame the kid for wanting to better himself as well as getting good value for his boyhood club I don’t think he should be ostracised for that

Because a lot of clubs and coaches wouldn’t of accepted his off field antics, I stood by jack through all his problems as he was putting in the performances on the pitch every week, I don’t see the big deal, the fans got on his back to try keep him off his game, we know that, he knows that and I don’t see the problem tbh. he would of went to Spurs only levy was trying to pull a fast one and it backfired on him, he would of went to united but they never made a bid, then he got his wish when city stumped up the cash. he tried his best to get a move, he is irrelevant now nobody wishes him bad but he won’t get any favours when he lines up against us and that’s how it should be

I’m not asking he gets any favours he has moved on and that’s fine but I don’t think he deserves to be booed in the way he was the other night
