Would make it a great window mate, I’m not sure we will buy a DM I think marvellous will get his chance, true his distribution is not the best but if our attack is upgraded he will have better options and attack is the best form of defence in my book. I’d like another winger, cover for targett and then Tammy to top it off.

If we get Ward-Prowse (which is "believe it when I see it" territory for me), Buendia and perhaps some cover at LB and ST that would be an absolutely sensational window.
That's a good point on Marvelous Whack, perhaps with better players around him his distribution issues won't be so obvious. Same would apply to Luiz from a defensive perspective as well you'd imagine.
Seriously though, what an 11 this would be, and our bench all of a sudden looks quite strong - Exciting times.

Whilst Saints fans seemed resigned to losing Vestergaard and Ings they seem fairly confident Ward Prowse is going nowhere.

Not sure Whack some have him down as a central midfielder some as a defensive midfielder so take your pick I guess, but from what I have seen I wouldn’t mark him down as the type who breaks up the play and protects the back four, what we could do with is a cross between him and Nakamba 😃.

For me he would be coming in to play the role McGinn played this season, linking play in the centre of the part, and McGinn would then play further forward - It would be a serious coup to get Ward-Prowse, he would have a huge impact on our team, McGinn playing further forward would add another dimension to the side in attack and defence. Really exciting times, if we are genuinely interested in Ward-Prowse then that signals we will break our transfer record again as it'll probably take 40M+ to get him surely?

I think you are probably right and if we do land him I can’t see us spending a similar amount on Abraham.
