Just been doing a bit of research, although Buendia's showreel has him scoring with both feet, he prefers his right, I always thought he was left footed. Do you think this means he'll play where Jack has been playing, Jack's been making a lot of noises about playing the No10 role, particularly for England, I was thinking 1 or the other to play on the right, Buendia or Pereira, wouldn't be surprised to see us buy them both if Pereira would only cost £15M, there's the wings sorted out, Jack at No10 where he wants to play, but I'll say it again, we need a proven midfield destroyer especially if that's how we would set up. I think you guys would agree, we'd see attacking football above and beyond anything we've seen before, always be on the front foot, let the opposition worry about us, I'm sure we'd be open to counter attacks set up like that, but we have a sound settled defence, and imo, the No1 goalkeeper in the world, might stick a few quid on us winning the Prem next year lol 😂

Personally Allyp I think we already have an effective DM at the club in Nakamba. Yes he has his limitations ability wise but he proved in our last 2 games that he can be the ball winner we crave and, like Targett this season, has room to improve further. He doesn't have to be a pass master just win the ball and play it 5 yards to our more creative players, which will hopefully be bolstered by the imminent arrival of Beundia and the emergence of Chukwumeka. I think if we do buy a DM it will be a young up and coming player with an eye to the future.

Think you could be right about Nakamba Moose, with a proper run of games he could be the answer, but will he get that run 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸

Think he could get decent game time against the bigger clubs where we need to keep things tight. Probably be rotated with Dougie depending on the opposition but definitely deserves a chance to shine.

Don’t know where you’ve got the stuff about Grealish wanting to play the 10, he’s on record multiple articles, interviews etc saying his favourite position is on the left of a front three. Which makes sense as although he was arguably the best of a bad bunch the other night for England, he was nowhere near his usual self.
Buendia for Norwich plays on the right but floats centrally/ all over more often than not, so playing as a 10 which he has done at times won't worry him. (All info on Buendia from talknorwichcity latest posts/ articles)
So that makes things pretty simple, Grealish out on the left where he’s at his best/ most comfortable, then depending on the opposition, Buendia in the ten with Traore or someone else out on the right, and when we play the tougher games and may want more security in the middle, Buendia out on the right and McGinn in an 8/ box to box roll in place of the ten.
Get in a defensive midfielder and let the good times roll!

I think we definitely need a real solid defensive midfielder I am not convinced by Nakamba his distribution is bloody awful I wouldn’t even trust him to deliver it 5 yards to be honest. Wouldn’t it be good if we turned Arsenal over again and got Berge from Sheff Utd twice in the space of a close season. Glorious 🤣🤣.
