Going on the past few days rumours on here and other sources, could our business in the summer be.
CH/ DM Tuanzebe £7M
ST Abraham £40M
RW McNeil £25M
I'd definitely go for Axel at that price, we know what Tammy offers and £40M is the going rate, don't know too much about McNeil but he's a left footed option and with Trez being out long term I'm assuming an improvement on him anyway? Another way of looking at Axel is as a direct replacement for Engels should he leave, and cover for Cash at right back if Elmo doesn't get a new deal, and not forgetting we don't know what will happen with Guilbert. So that frees up going for a proper DM, Hayden or Dier would be my choices, I'd like to see 1 of them in a midfield 3 with Jack and McGinn and with the 3 up top (Watkins Tammy and McNeil) Our 1st choice defence picks itself so what would you think of that line up if those deals happen?

In terms of defensive midfielders it’s Bissouma or Berge for me.

I can honestly say I haven’t seen Berge play enough to have a proper opinion on him, he’s a big lad and very highly rated, hope I explain this right (🤪) but he looks too ‘nice’ kinda guy you wouldn’t mind dating your sister, I’d rather have an assassin as DM, a nasty piece of work, if Atilla the Hun can win the ball and pass to a team mate who’s job it is to be creative, that’s who I’d go for, does he have an agent? 😂

I’d go Bissouma, not as good on the ball as Berge but a lot more mobile, which is the way I think the premier league is going. A lot fewer teams who like to put it in the mixer etc where Berge’s height and presence would be key, and a lot more teams who keep it on the deck and move it quickly.
Either one would be a brilliant upgrade no doubt and I’d love either, but I’d just edge to Bissouma.
