I wish we was in a relegation battle oh wait where not we are currently 10th in the PL after being in the doldrums for 7-8 years and near extinction I guess some people will never be happy well live my life then and then come back to me and moan!

Daz Accept mediocrity and that's what you will get, if you are happy that's your right and it's right you have your say, for some of us we want more and what's being served up, in my view is not acceptable at the moment and I am not on my own.

1 Is this season better than last season?
2 Is our Defence better than last season?
3 Do you trust NWSE?
4 Are Villa a better team than last season?
5 Do you think The CV outbreak at VP has hampered the last 6 games back?
6 Has Dean Smith done a good job from getting us from 16th in the Championship to 10th in the PL in 3 seasons along with more Wembley trips than 5 or 6 of the teams above us?
7 Dean Smith is one of us. At the moment do you think he is not hurting too?
8 And finally if you have answered yes to 6 or 7 of these questions then Dean Smith must be doing ok and don't need the get smith out brigade banging on his door.

Daz mate, if I say I think we are not playing to our potential, that does not mean I want Deano out does it.
If you went to a Restaurant every week because the food was good, and then you had a below standard meal that was then common place, would you complain or sit there happy as larry.

Dave you know aswell as me every team are going to have blips in the season we are the youngest squad in the PL for gods sake I'm not saying you are calling for Dean's head but some are and to be quite frank it's annoying and tedious. We have come a long long way in such a short space of time infact we are ahead of our goal. Yes the perfomances haven't been great of late admittedly but surely you can see the work that's been done behind the scenes aswell as on the pitch. Personally I don't want Europe this season we are a building in process from top to bottom and learning to run before you can walk could be our downfall. Take Everton for example forever in the Pl and are now there or thereabouts fighting for a European place we have been back for 2 years we have to build our squad year on year just to stay in the top half. Th bigger picture Is there for all too see but some just think we have a god given right to be in the PL we don't and no team does. Ill say it again we are a work in progress after being near extinction at least we have a manager who loves our club like we do.
