Good solid performance, took our chance and carved good openings once we got the first. When they sent every attacker on there books on😂 we defended brilliantly and limited them to half chances if that.
Mings MOM for me, him, Watkins and Cash were brilliant. But that was performance to silence the doubters, played his usual game looking to play out from the back and spring us onto the front foot. But also took no chances when he had to. What I really liked was second half, I hope others noticed, but he put himself in the positions that may well have exposed him if it went wrong, but he did it so both Nakamba and Konsa didn't have to, as they were already on bookings. Nakambas expressions seeing Mings step into a player a second before he was going to was pretty funny😂. That's the sort of characters we need in our team!
Well played lads, needed that sort of commitment off the back of West Ham, I was certain we'd get it, win lose or draw!

A good assessment Chris and a hard fought 3 points which we needed after Wednesday.
A point I will make, and it's an observation rather than a moan as a fan of football and without any claret and blue specs on, is that the reluctance on making subs needs to be addressed. Arsenal were pro active with theirs and could of salvaged something without the resolute defending. An extra body in the middle of the park could of made things more comfortable if only for fresh legs. Trezeguet, tho not the most pleasing on the eye, put in a shift and adding either Luiz or Sanson into the mix could of stopped Arsenal getting a grip in the middle of the park.
Time to relax for the rest of the day after that result ðŸ‘.

Chris, why are you classing people as doubters, just because they have an opinion that differs to other people who see no wrong.
I am not a doubter, but I do have opinions on the club I support.
I love my family to bits, but it doesn`t stop me telling them if I think they are wrong.

Good post mate. Agreed about the defending was fantastic. Watkins was my man of the match just how hard he works is great to see. Just a quick mention to target aswell gave him abit of stick at times last season but he has been brilliant this season. UTV.

Agree completely Moose. At times we were being overrun in midfield in the second half and it was crying out for another body in there. Barkley had become very ineffective, was virtually a passenger, and should have been replaced at least a quarter of an hour sooner.
Fortunately, we got away with it, and I agree the general lèvel of performances within the team was higher than against West Ham. For me Ollie was Man of the match, 6 games in 18 days but the constant effort he demonstrates is nothing short of amazing. The back 4 were all solid and Emi put in an immaculate performance in goal.
They’ve all got a weeks rest now, they definitely need that and as supporters I think we do as well.

Barkley throwing a strop after being subbed-the answer is simple my friend- play better and you won't be. We don't need any big time Charlie's here, just honest, hard working professionals.
Nobody should be untouchable if they're playing badly, including Jack. If you don't like it sod off back to Chelsea's bench, if you get picked for it.
You have a big chance here to reignite your career don't throw it away. Alas I think it may be in his loan agreement that if he's fit he plays, but that's just my take on it.
