Look at some of our best goals this season though Dave, we work well when we slow it down, our first against Arsenal for example. At times like the last 10 minutes of today’s game, we rush and our attacks come to nothing.
I agree sometimes we are guilty of missing the obvious pass that keeps us fast and fluid in attack, however if nothings on, then nothings on, so to speak. So keeping hold of the ball and working it, is better than hit and hope.

Smith has took us from bottom half table, to top half premier league in what 2 and a half, 3 seasons? We are now playing some of the best football we have seen in decades. Why does he have to continue to be questioned over and over.

Nick pope deserves a knighthood for keeping them in games, glad we don’t have to face him again this season he’s a super shot stopper. we’ve had a few losses this season but tonight is possibly only the third time I was disappointed with our performance, need to learn to keep the same intensity for 90+ mins and dean needs to act sooner when our intensity drops.

I know we beat Newcastle Chris, but it was the same performance we were brilliant for 60 mins then no intensity for final 30, Newcastle were just that bad that they couldn’t punish us, Burnley did just that, I respect dean for what he’s done for us and I am a fan of his, but he was watching the same game that we were, everyone could see Barkley was getting tired and traore had very little input in the second half, he waited till they scored the third goal to sub them which was a mistake in my book, hopefully he freshens things up a bit sooner when Sanson is there, I thought nakamba should of came on for Barkley as soon as we got our second goal, shore things up see the game out and we can still create with nakamba on the pitch.
