Since 1874 there has been many highs and lows from winning the European Cup to being relegated and right upto this team now. What is everyone's highest and lowest point of being a Villa fan? My lowest was without doubt being relegated to the Championship. My highest has to be the announcement of NWSE as our new owners they saved our club and totally IMO outweigh winning the European cup.

Lowest was losing to ‘them lot’ from down the road when Dublin got sent off, the highest was Cahills overhead kick against them, I’ve never seen The Holte End go up like that, other notable mentions for the highs would be Savo’s hat trick against Cov I think, and when we beat Leeds in the cup, the Carbone from nearly the half way line game, Merson was a Don in that game, and the 2-0 down to Arsenal and winning 3-2, the Father Christmas game

UTV.

Highs obviously the league and European cup plus league cups, lows, apart from relegation, losing 1-0 at home to Oldham and handing the title to Utd. Not a pleasant experience walking away from the ground. Loved that Big Fat Ron side.

My lowest was when we got relegated to the Third Division in 69-70.
And my best was wining the Title in 81, + European Cup + Super Cup, amazing, met my wife during that period as well, Happy Days.

My lowest point was the appointment of Alex mcleish as manager, club was going 1 way at that point and bottom of the barrel manager coming in, awful times I refused to even buy a jersey that year. my best highs are anytime we beat Liverpool or united as that the only teams my friends support so I give it lots, being waiting for a while now to beat united😢.

My lowest was getting relegated, highs winning European Cup and league, and beating lpool 7/ 2.

One of my high points was being at the wimbledon game to witness Dalien Atkinsons wonder goal. Relegation has to be the low alongside employing Mcleish.

Lows are several.
First time relegated under Mercer.
Then relegation to the old third div.
Relegation to the champs.
Lerner, McLiesh etc.

Highs,
Peter McParland 2 Man Utd 1, Wembley 1957.
Highbury for the last match, losing 2-0 but League champions.
AV 1, Bayern 0. I refused a ticket as every game I watched us that season we lost.
More recently our new owners, Swarris and Edens.
Promoted back to the prem. then managing to stay.

Highs to come? Top 6 this year.
Europe next year
Onwards and onwards.
